Bought this for the master bedroom and it works great. The set up was easy, the small speakers work great for the less important space.Only amenable is that it takes a little for he unit to turn on/boot up.

I bought this for Christmas for my spouse (he got it early). It's awesome. The hulu and netflix "apps" on wifi are great. We by currently had subscriptions to both, keep for previously we had a notebook hooked to our tv via an HDMI, and at that time an audio cable ran from the notebook to our dvd aux imput for sound. There are only a handful of shows with the intention of we watch with the intention of aren't available via huluplus on the wifi enabled contrivance rather than our notebook, keep for for the stretch of use this offers us, we have yet to go back to the notebook to watch them. It has PLENTY of speaker cable length, and set up was pretty painless. The sound feature is what I love most though. I grew up the daughter of an AV gentleman, so I've been a little disfigured in with the intention of department. Our before set up drove me nuts. At despondent volumes you could possibly only hear the music and it was hard to make made known the voices, keep for by the time you twisted it up enough to hear the voices, it was a little too loud for our neighbors (we're in an apartment building building) and not real awesome for our daughter who was sleeping on the other side of the wall. This is a splendid sound logic. The cords were more than long sufficient and we have a better sized living room. It's got actually good bass and it scares our dogs now and again since it shakes the house. It's got completely customizable sound so you can turn it up or down when ever you want. The blu-ray is splendid too. It lots a 1.5 tb hard guide no conundrum. Of way it has to be formatted to NTFS or Fat32 so Mac users make sure you have a windows pad void. I've tried avi, mkv, mov, mp4 and wmv and they all work impeccably. My tv wouldn't play half of persons so it was a big improvement and it took unendingly for my tv to load the hard guide. All in all this is splendid for a budget home acting logic.

This manufactured goods is performing as advertised. I did not want to waste $1000 on a acting logic for a $500 TV (which I recieved for fathers day - Panasonic 50" Plasma) The relations were very honest forwards.. The "On Cover" set up went pretty well. In succession Cable Television shows thru the Sony Audio made the signal best than the TVs speakers.. and When before a live audience a DVD we were amazed at the feature of the signal coming out of persons modest speakers. Yeah I know you "Get what you pay for" well I did.. for almost $400 I am very satisfied with the consequences.. I don't know everyplace in the future I will waste the "Big Bucks" on the Home Acting logic but, for now this one will do just fine.. Thankfulness

It's ok for the price. I bought Sony because I have a Sony TV and I like the way they integrate. Approximately Pro's: Small footprint, movie and signal quality seem ok to me, speakers are small, has FM, good WIFI connection for Pandora, excellent Sony quality. Approximately Con's: I don't like that the speakers are tricky wired at the lecturer and together to the receiver via a jack connection - this means whatever lecturer length Sony decided to give you for each lecturer, that's it (without splicing, etc...), the Base always seem overpowering to me and you can't turn it down or rancid - at night I have to turn down all the receiver speakers and use the TV speakers so my kids can sleep while I'm watching a movie, also, my previous Sony Blu-ray player always seemed to know when the player was turned rancid, where it was supposed to resume when it powered up, this one doesn't seem to do that.Suggestions: There are various signal modes that adjust the signal quality - it would be nice to have a user customizable mode. Also after using a TIVO back-lit remote, I wish all my remotes would operate that way since most times while I'm watching a movie it is dark and the lights are down low.Bottom line, I thought it would be better, but I'm ok with it for the price paid.
