By and large, this unit is a great entry level all-in-one surround/dvd system. I do have issues when using the digital coax out to listen to TV in surround...for the first minute or so, the sound comes and goes, but after that it seems to work okay. Also, the digital optical port does not have enough friction to hold the cable in so it is in the end unusable. The USB port is great for playing music. The upconvert is okay. The stacked tray changer is way better than a carousel, especially for those that have space constraints. This unit is only about 14 inches deep. Most carousel changers are around 16-18 inches deep.

This is a pretty decent budget system. The DVD/CD changer is a little slow and noisy but, not that bad.The DVD/CD player quit reading, after the 90 days, and it took me a while to get it working. Customer service said to press and hold the ON/OFF button and the promote it in. I tried that several times on 2 separate occassions including no luck. Finally, I left it turned on for a while (about 30 minutes) and then I pressed and held the ON/OFF button while I unplugged the element, waited a few seconds while I was subdue pressing the ON/OFF button, and then plugged it in trade in. After a few seconds I reeased the button and it started working fine again. I hope this helps someone from spending the $69+ to have it reset by someone else.

I bought this surround sound logic with purchasing a samsung 40 inch 1080p tv. Wow this business sounds splendid. I have it hooked up with a optical audio cord and it sounds amazing. I bought it from best buy for 250 and it is a huge sound for a modest price. I have my xbox 360 hooked up to it also and every grenade thrown in halo sounds perfect.

i have never had a conundrum with audio feature, sounds great 2+ years down the road. do not buy if you have a big room or use it as a dvd player or to play your ipod the diffident sucks and is unresponsive and the dvd player is super slow to chat disks. but i think the it sounds great primarily for a small room and for less than $300 the price is hard to beat.

I bought this logic as part of a package deal so I had look into including the intention of the signal was not splendid. persons reviews are correct. the signal is OK but not splendid. subwoofer sounds distorted as number increases. The come forth I have is including the intention of it says including the intention of it upconverts DVDs to 1080i or 720p. They don't caution you before including the intention of the map release works on non-copyprotected DVDs. The addict blue-collar mentions it but the specifications on websites and flush LG's own specification pdf file does not. So I couldn't upconvert Blade Jogger, but Pirates of the Carribean Curse of the Black Treasure will upconvert. SO now I am not sure which of the 300+ DVDs I own will upconvert.Also, the DVD changer makes a lot of blast and is gradual when you open/accurate the drawer.
